Police have arrested one 18-year-old man and three minors in connection to Saturday's fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old victim, Fremont police said Sunday night.
The victim of that stabbing, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital, is said to be Newark Memorial High School senior .
Fremont Police Detective Sgt. Chris Hummel said in a press release that the Fremont police arrested the four suspects around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the adult male, whose name has not yet been released, was arrested on suspicion of murder while the minors have are suspected to have been accessories to the homicide.
Authorities said the 18-year-old victim was around 11:20 p.m. Saturday near a home near Hyde Park and Yellow Stone Park drives, near Auto Mall Parkway, in Fremont’s Blacow district.
The 18-year-old adult male suspect has been booked into Fremont Jail, while the minors were booked into Juvenile Hall. All four are awaiting arraignment.
