Enjoying Music, Warm Weather at Block Party

Station members of La Raza 93.3 FM gave away around $500 in prizes outside of Mi Pueblo on Saturday.

From the dance beats to the bouncy houses, Newark residents enjoyed what looked like a summertime fiesta Saturday as La Raza 93.3 FM hosted a block party in the parking lot on Newark Boulevard.

On Air Personality Valentin Garcia, aka “El Semental,” lead La Raza street team members as they entertained party people with Mexican dance music, games and prizes.

“Mi Pueblo asked us to host this event and give away prizes,” Garcia said.
