Need to clean out your home or find new goods for your place?
The City of Newark Recreation Department is hosting its first White Elephant Sale next month.
On Sept. 29, people will be able to find various items for sale from 9 a.m. to noon at the Silliman Activity Center. It will offer participants to sell and buy items that are of garage sale quality.
Applications to sell goods are currently being accepted.

Rent a 10’x10’ space (includes one 8 foot table and 2 chairs).
- $40/$45 Resident/Non-Resident
Sale items MUST be of garage sale quality and in working condition. No food items, large furniture, motorcycles, cars or car parts, or any new or commercial items.
You MUST take all items not sold back home with you.
Applications are due by Sept 10 and are available at the Silliman Activity Center or online at www.newark.org.
