When Does Fremont Patch Launch?

Find out when Fremont Patch, a site that will be your go-to spot for community conversation, debuts.

Fremont Patch is coming, and it's coming soon.

While the town is bigger than most Patch locations, we're sure the Fremont community will appreciate its own news, business and information platform.

We will launch a Fremont Patch later this summer, adding to our nationwide network of 870 towns. Nearby Patch sites include NewarkUnion City and Milpitas Patch.

Fremont Patch will be a place where you can connect with your neighbors to discuss the things that are most important to you and share them with others by posting your own events, announcements, photos and videos.

So when does Fremont Patch launch? It launches August 23. Yes, two weeks from now! And we already have hundreds of subscribers. Thank you to all of those who signed up for newsletters at the Fremont Festival of the Arts!

And it's not too late to sign up for newsletters. See the forms above to sign up and find out other ways you can become involved.

Our users make Patch lively, interactive information hubs. You can contribute by commenting, submitting events and announcements, blogging or just letting us know what's happening.

We're currently signing up bloggers. If you have a passion about something — your school, your pets, your church, anything — fill out the form with this article. You can also use this form to sign up for our Fremont Patch newsletter.

If you have a Fremont business, you can add it to our free business directory, and if you claim your listing, you'll find free tools to help you promote your business.

To advertise, contact our sales team at Keith.Albee@Patch.com

We'll also have Fremont Patch communities on Facebook and Twitter, and there will be a smartphone app as well. So look for us there in the coming weeks.

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

I remember as a teacher buying my own supplies. Looking back I don't regret buying anything andRead More realize that each person's teaching style is different. The things I might buy for my classroom would be totally different than you. Running a classroom is a lot like running a business, there are expenses and you just have to deal with that.

I know! We're working on it. But if you've got a nice, high-res photo you'd like to showcase, feelRead More free to email it to me.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.

Don't like it at all. "Change" isn't always for the better.
