Shop and Win Gift Cards From NewPark Mall

NewPark Mall goes digital for promotions this holiday season.

There’s Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.

But at NewPark Mall the deals happen throughout the holiday season, and to encourage retailers to shop at the indoor shopping center this year, NewPark Mall’s management team has launched a series of digital deals.

Returning this year is a promotion that distributes gift cards to shoppers if they spend $150 or more titled “Santaful Fridays.”

Every Friday through Dec. 14, shoppers who spend $150 or more at NewPark Mall stores will receive a $15 mall gift card. Shoppers will be required to show their same-day receipts and redeem the gift card from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the upper level of the mall near the elevator.

The promotion is similar to one mall management launched last year but with fewer restrictions, said NewPark Mall Manager Kelly Gardner. Purchases from all stores – including anchor stores such as Macy’s and Burlington Factory – are valid and the gift card total has slightly increased.

For those who still love jolly ol’ St. Nick, there is also a promotion for photographs with Santa.

Shoppers who use FourSquare, a location-based app and social networking platform, can “check-in” at the mall’s Santa set when they purchase a photo package and receive a $10 gift card. A receipt must be presented when shoppers redeem the gift card.

Creative photographers out there (or just those who love those awesome Instragam filters) will also have a chance to win a gift card.

Mall visitors are invited to take a holiday-themed photograph at the mall and tag it “#npmxmas” on Instagram, a mobile photo-based social media app, and each week a winner will be chosen to receive a $25 gift card, Gardner said. Participants must make sure their profiles are set to “public” in order to be automatically entered in the weekly contest.

Don't like it at all. "Change" isn't always for the better.
