Shave It Off

Now that March has ended and we are officially in the month of April, it’s time for many guys to shave off the facial hair they grew as good luck charms during March Madness, or Mustache March. So whether you grew out your beard to root on your favorite team, or just happen to need a shave as we approach warmer weather, Patch has found barbershops and salons that will shave, or wax, the hair right off of your face.

offers straight blade or clipper shaves for men that vary in price. A full straight razor facial shave, including beard and mustache, runs $12 to $15 while a clipper shave is $8. The straight blade shave includes shaving cream and a hot towel. The traditional barbershop is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The shop is closed on Mondays. Walk-ins are accepted but the staff suggests making an appointment because the shop may get busy. Make sure to grab cash in order to pay for the shave.

doesn’t offer a straight razor shave but they do offer a regular shave using a Mach 3 razor for $20. Even without the use of a straight edge razor, offers the whole experience with a barber chair, hot towel and hot cream. The barbershop is located in Old Town Center and hours vary daily so make sure to call ahead to scheduled your shave. Once again, this shop only accepts cash.

Waxing may be a little less traditional than a shave, but it may help keep the stubble away a little bit longer. This full-service beauty salon offers other services and waxing as well so feel free to book a hair cut and a facial treatment while your in. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., this salon only accepts cash as well.
