Courier company OnTrac has opened a regional hub in Fremont, media reports state.

According to PrNewswire.com, the new 130,000 square-foot facility is located at 41460 Boyce Rd. between Stevenson Boulevard and Auto Mall Parkway. It will act as an inter-regional center for the East Bay, including the Tri-Cities, Hayward, Pleasanton, Livermore and San Ramon.

More from the report:

With 39 dock doors positioned for both inbound and outbound trailer loads, the new material handling system will improve operational capacity, process rates, and improve efficiency for our customers in the East Bay.  Fremont will increase  package flow and have five times the capacity of the previous facility.
