LOV's new office is located on Central Avenue. Monday night bingo will also be held at Swiss Park.

The League of Volunteers has found a new home for its office and popular weekly bingo games.

The longtime local nonprofit, which rented space at Ruschin Elementary School until the school district recently decided to sell the defunct campus, is now headquartered at 8440 Central Ave. in suites A and B, according to an announcement on LOV’s blog.

According to the Fremont Bulletin, the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. An auxiliary office will be located at Swiss Park, located at 5911 Mowry Ave. LOV’s new program development director Sharon Slayton will work out of Swiss Park from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, the Bulletin reports.

Swiss Park is also the new location for LOV’s Monday night bingo games, where the first game was held on Memorial Day, according to LOV.

Doors open at 4 p.m. on Mondays for bingo, with games starting at 6:30 p.m.

LOV also plans to hold bingo games on some Saturdays, though the dates have yet to be announced.

Also this week, LOV will be begin registration for their 2013 LOV Summer Recreation Program, which runs from July 8 through Aug. 15.

Registration is open from June 4 to 28 and must be done in-person at the new LOV office.
