The Afro-American Cultural and Historical Society will remember the legacy of civil rights leader Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Sunday.
The event, known as the , will begin at 3 p.m. at
Since 1977, the Afro-American Cultural and Historical Society has celebrated King’s efforts and achievements in raising awareness for racial equality with a Tri-City celebration.
Sunday's event comes as an early celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which is celebrated on Jan. 16 this year.
