Religious Art Exhibit Featured at NPM Cultural Corner

NewPark Mall's popular Cultural Corner presents the works of local artist from Fremont, California, Jan Small.  Small's paintings will be on display, November 1-28, 2011.

Small's Christian art features scene paintings from the Book of Revelation as well as prophectic paintings.  

Artist Bio:

Jan Small, award winning artist, writer, and teacher, has successfully conducted a school of art for the past 40+ years. Her art has been exhibited nationally and internationally, seen on television, published in newspapers and magazines, and purchased for public and private collections. She has lectured and demonstrated to art associations, churches and Christian organizations. 

Jan has taught art classes through College of Holy Names (Oakland), Fremont School District, and Fremont Recreation Department. She has taught special classes to the mentally and physically handicapped, to senior citizens and to abandoned and abused children at Alameda County Juvenile Hall.  She continues to hold classes in her studio where she facilitates workshops in painting prophetic art. 

Small resides in Fremont, CA, with her husband, Larry. Her sons and their families live nearby.

The new Cultural Corner, which opened in May 2011, is located on the lower level near at NewPark Mall.
