Do you like reading, but need some more practice?  Or, is reading in school a necessary chore, because you need help learning how to read?  The Summer Reading Buddies program may be the answer for you.  High school volunteers act as “reading buddies” to younger children by listening to them read, or reading to them. This program is designed for children in kindergarten through grades five to promote good reading habits over the summer.

The two hour time period is divided into four, thirty minute reading slots.  Registration is required.

I know! We're working on it. But if you've got a nice, high-res photo you'd like to showcase, feelRead More free to email it to me.

One story I tried to read had an ad covering 1/4 of it, and there was no way to make it go away.
