California's premier Wind Orchestra brings a show of classics for wind ensemble. Familiar works include Gustav Holst's First Suite in E-Flat for Military Band, Richard Rodgers' Victory at Sea, and Paul Hindemith's "March" from Symphonic Metamorphosis. The concert will conclude with David Whitwell's masterful transcription of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring.
