In honor of Women’s History Month, the Ohlone Community Band will perform works by contemporary American symphonic band composers, Anne McGinty and Julie Giroux. The program will also include “The Sun Will Rise Again” by Philip Sparke, dedicated to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, March 2011; and additional symphonic band works.
