Ohlone College Community Band
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Ohlone Community Band will perform works by contemporary female American symphonic band composers Anne McGinty and Julie Giroux.
The program will also include Philip Sparke’s “The Sun Will Rise Again”, a piece dedicated to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami of March 2011. Additional symphonic band works will also be featured.
