LOCAL ARTISTS SHOWCASE PORTRAITS, LANDSCAPES AND STILL LIFE ART AT NEWPARK MALL'S CULTURAL CORNER

Four local artists will be featured at NewPark Mall’s Cultural Corner in June:

Farshid Namei will exhibit the exquisite and innocent expressions of children in her portraits.

Robyn Lyee Leimer is an accomplished oil painter who will showcase her plein air landscapes using nature’s delicate lines, symmetry of shapes and bold variations of color.

Jaci Daskarolis, an avid crafter and painter has a passion of experimenting with all forms of art, and works with acrylics, collage, mixed-media, oil and jewelry.

 

Carol Ramos spends her everyday drawing and painting.  She has a love for watercolor painting, and the special effects and techniques that this forum gives her.

 

The exhibit is FREE and open to the public. For more information, visit www.NewParkMall.com.The Cultural Corner, which opened in May 2011, provides exhibit space for the work of local artisans, including painters, sculptors, photographers and digital artists.  Local artists interested in displaying their work at the new Cultural Corner are invited to call Kenia Ortiz at 510-284-1600.
