Digital Camera Introductory Class

Did you receive a digital camera and haven't a clue how to use it? Is one gathering dust on your shelf because you cannot decipher its instruction book?

Worry no longer. You will be a functional photographer in no time if you take this three-hour-long workshop offered by the Fremont Art Association Centre.

The instructor will explain in easy-to-understand terms how to operate your camera and take better photos. They will de-mystify the menus and settings on your camera and teach you basic photographic skills. You will learn about stop motion, how to blur backgrounds, how to achieve well composed photos and how to capture bright colors.

Bring your camera because this is a hands-on class. Meet at the centre's gallery. Both indoor and outdoor photos will be taken during the workshop.

This workshop repeats and although the same material is taught each time, participants are encouraged to return and take it again to learn more. The instructor will provide students who repeat the course with additional exercises to practice.

To register you can go here.  The art center can be reached at 510-792-0905.

Don't like it at all. "Change" isn't always for the better.
