Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration In Newark

Come celebrate the Year of The Dragon and Chinese Lunar New Year January 22 from 12 to 3 p.m. at in Newark. 

The event will feature arts and crafts, dance and other cultural activities and is taking place in the mall's center court.

Lorraine Yee with the Jing Mo Athletic Association will offer free dance classes and youngsters can make red lantern and dragon art projects. There will even be a prize wheel you can spin for a chance at gift cards and other surprises.

Jing Mo Performance 12 to 12:30 p.m.and 2:30 to 3 p.m. Come learn the Lion Dance and have your photo taken with the Lion.

Craft activities 12:30 to 3 p.m.
