I can not find any news on this second closure. It's shocking since it was on such a large scale. Wish I knew more too.

Maybe they were searching the area or arresting an additional person in the sledgehammer murder case? I think it would be a lot better for the city if they told us what was going on instead of keeping silent and leaving us to fear the worst.

The poor woman that got killed by her daughter with a sledgehammer. How come no one has put flowers or candles outside her home ????? She was a good citizen that gave her life in protecting the law

I think a family member is still living in the house and may not want an additional reminder of the tragedy in the front yard. There may also be cultural factors involved. I think that street memorials began as a part of gang culture and are still not widely practiced outside of gang culture. I do know that both my husband and I moved to California from very different parts of the US, and neither of us had seen street memorials until we moved here.
