Consider staying the night. Several hotels host New Year's Eve celebrations and offer overnight packages. Click on the event links above for details.

AAA offers free rides home with its "Tipsy Tow Home" Program on New Year's Eve from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. You don't have to be an AAA member. Just call 800-222-4357 and tell the operator, "I need a Tipsy Tow." A truck will pick you up and tow your car home.

Patch wishes all of you a safe and happy New Year's Eve.
