Dine To Donate To NJHS Rocketry Students

Newark Junior High School Rocketry is hoping to raise funds for a nationwide competition.

Newark Junior High School Rocketry students are inviting the community to dine at a local restaurant in order to raise funds for their rocketry competition.

People who dine at between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. today will contribute to Newark Junior High School Rocketry. Chevys will donate 25 percent of proceeds made. Those who wish to participate must present the fliers when they dine.

Science teacher Tom Collett said he is entering three teams to the Team America Rocketry Challenge, which could cost at least $1,200 per team, not including travel expenses if the team qualifies for nationals.
