Buckhorn Grill claims to have "the best tri-tip on the planet" and now East Bay shoppers visiting Stoneridge Mall can put the statement to the test.

The "fast-casual" restaurant is now open for business, serving top-quality char-roasted tri-tip, salmon, chicken and entrée salads. Diners can select from sandwiches, salads, kids meals and platters. Available sides include fries, rolls and mashed potatoes with gravy. Buckhorn Grill uses only Certified Angus Beef.

The restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by California Pizza Kitchen, on the second level near Sears. California Pizza Kitchen moved into its full-service location near The Cheesecake Factory last year.
